Mountain Gate apparel is built around a closed threshold: the mountain holds, the gate controls passage, and living culture presses against the wall.
This collection features the Mountain Gate design across hoodies, T-shirts, and crewneck sweatshirts. The artwork combines a weathered Chinese gate, mountain symbolism, stone texture, ink-wash atmosphere, and street-art abrasion into a bold image made for everyday wear.
In the Yijing image-system, mountain belongs to 艮 gèn: stillness, stopping, boundary, and correct restraint. A mountain gate is therefore not just a passageway. It is the place where movement is checked before it can continue.
In this design, that 艮 gèn logic is extended into the image of a gatekeeper: a structure that holds the threshold before passage. The wall protects what has been inherited, but it can also keep living culture outside.
When the gate remains closed, expression does not disappear. It writes, marks, interrupts, and leaves evidence on the surface.
The result is a design about transmission under pressure: old structure, living movement, blocked passage, and the difficult space between preservation and renewal.
